Immigrant and refugee services to welcome, advocate, and empower.

In our ongoing efforts to support immigrants and refugees, our organization recently held a free legal clinic. This clinic aimed to assist individuals with the often complex process of adjusting their immigration status and navigating legal hurdles. We are proud to report that over 40 people received crucial legal services during this event.

The clinic was a huge success, thanks to the generosity of dedicated legal professionals and the support of our community partners. We want to express our deep gratitude to the attorneys and law firms for their invaluable contributions like Pahola Burgos of CWS, M.A.J. Law Firm, McKinney Immigration Law, and Polanco Law, P.C.

These attorneys provided free consultations and legal advice to individuals seeking assistance with various immigration issues. Their expertise and commitment to serving the community made a significant impact.

We also extend our thanks to our dedicated volunteers, who helped organize and run the clinic, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for everyone.

A special shoutout goes to Grace United Methodist Church Greensboro for hosting the event and providing a safe and welcoming space for our community to gather. Their generosity allowed us to reach many individuals who otherwise might not have had access to legal services.

This legal clinic is one of many initiatives we have undertaken to close the gap in services for immigrants and refugees. Our mission is to ensure that everyone has access to justice and the resources they need to build a secure future. By offering free legal clinics and other forms of support, we strive to make a positive difference in our community.

Thank you to everyone who played a part in making this event successful. If you’re interested in learning more about our work or want to get involved, please contact Volunteer Coordinator Maricruz Hernandez at Maricruz@maricruz@faithaction.org.

Together, we can continue to support our immigrant and refugee neighbors.
