We have expanded our program to include students from other agencies, communities, and not just FaithAction families, since we started in August. Swahili speaking and Haitian communities will now join the club.
This orientation will be more focused on parents to access their needs to start developing the Parent Curriculum in collaboration with Stephanie Martinez, a parent curriculum specialist. We plan to have interactive in-person sessions with advisors, youth members and Dosti. Parent Selene said, “I wanted my daughter (8th grade) to join a club that could help her get into college”.
